Fields of Forel... whose name refers to a receptive subconscious area of the brain, invokes the multiple talents of Dr. Aurelio Laing, iii (specializing in music therapy), Enrique Palacios and Nathan Slimane -- all fellow members of infectiously potent alternative indie band - Age of Anxiety, have joined creative forces, once again, to produce an amazingly unique project that's as profound as it is pure. Tranquil and reflective, their self-titled instrumental CD offers meditative qualities that stimulate the psyche with abstract sound fx, surreal melodies and transcendental imagery; essentially, the ultimate in 'mindscape' music!

With sights set on the film/TV market, Fields of Forel continue to manifest their success through a series of promotions and events, including an upcoming downtown street show in their native San Antonio, benefiting music therapy research. The band's already been well-received worldwide and have also recently been notified of an Honorable Mention award given by the 2006 Communicator Print Design Competition for the albumÕs innovative CD cover, plus a Certificate of Merit (with an appearance in the Int'l Design Annual summer 2007) from Creativity 36, with assistance from multi award-winning graphic design company, studioerin (studioerin.com).

As a 'side-project,' Fields of Forel recorded a very cool track that reflects the mood and creative genius of New Order/Joy Division... The band's rendition of "The Eternal," which was submitted in a song competition for the upcoming tribute album (C2), further demonstrates their depth of musical diversity and allows them to stretch their creative wings while paying homage to NO/JD, who've been among their many influences throughout the years.

With a dynamic new release, live performances and an endless sea of possibilities on the horizon, Fields of Forel are well on their way on the road to fruition.
